Capital Harmonia

Bringing music to the Washington DC region and beyond.

Founded in 2013, Capital Harmonia is a community women’s chorus based in northern Virginia. We are dedicated to bringing music written for women’s voices to local organizations and events, particularly those which support and promote the concerns of women.

Since our formation, we have performed with numerous local and regional organizations that serve and promote the causes of women, including shelters, women's clubs, nursing homes, and organizations concerned with women’s health issues.

We feature music written by women composers and have a wide repertoire of songs from Classical to Broadway and Pop. We perform throughout the Washington area at a variety of venues, pursuing our mission of 'paying it forward' to help other women's organizations.

Rehearsals:  We rehearse Wednesday nights from 7-9pm from September through June at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax (2709 Hunter Mill Road, Oakton, VA 22124, near Route 123 and Interstate 66).
